Introduction

The Gateway CX200X is, as the company describes, targeted towards consumers who seek a full-featured notebook PC combined with pen input functionality. While the CX200X certainly delivers in this regard, it is extremely hampered by its bulky size and weight which make it less than desirable to cradle for too long when in tablet mode. Marks are good for performance and features however, helping to keep this convertible from the scrap heap

This computer is great performance wise but the fan is constantly running and the computer heats up like a stove. Mine actually melted its hinge and now I'm using this model hanging from the wire. Also three keys popped off, one of them the same day I got it. Design and performance are fantastic though!

I work at a help desk in an institute where we have dozens of M280s. Half have serious motherboard issues and all have file corruption issues. They are both glitchy and physically prone to break. Find another model of Gateway if you insist on a cow-puter.
