HP F2105

"Poor quality and the worst customer service"

Tom on Jun 24th, 2008 at 12:54 PM
Score: 2

Monitor started developing vertical lines about a month after warranty expiration (1 year) at 18 months it now has 3 such lines. HP offered to let me buy a discount refurbished one of a similar size for $300 - other than that though they said too bad. Warranty is sub-par for the monitor price and industry standards (Samsung & Viewsonic, for example are 3 years). This vertical line issue seems to be a common problem on this monitor - perhaps we should seek legal guidance and file a class action suit.

Dell P1230

" 8 very good"

IronMan on Jun 17th, 2008 at 1:45 PM
Score: 8

8 worx eggselant! much better than my typing! Mine is made in china (a little smaller than the made in Mexico version) and from what I have seen a little better. I run mine at 1600x1200 @ 100mhz. The info in the manual says this isn't supported but after I download the Dell driver it shows on my settings screen with the "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display" box checked.
